01Who we are

Lumina Clippers is a platform that connects short-form video "clippers" with marketing campaigns. Clippers submit links to social media content they have posted (on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and similar platforms), and we track the public performance of that content so clippers can be credited and paid for campaigns they participate in.

02Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the Services.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: your name and email address. Your password is used to authenticate you; it is stored only as a salted cryptographic hash and is never stored or transmitted in plain text.
  • Payout information: to pay you for campaigns, we collect the payout details you choose to provide, namely your selected payment method and the associated identifier, which may be a PayPal email address, a Whop username, and/or a Solana wallet address.
  • Content submissions: links (URLs) to social media posts you submit to campaigns.
  • Communications: any information you provide when you contact us for support.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Public content metrics: for content you submit, we retrieve publicly available performance data (such as view, like, and comment counts) from the relevant social platform. We do not access your social media account credentials or any private data.
  • Attribution data: limited metadata about how you arrived at the Services (for example, the acquisition source or referral link), used to attribute sign-ups.
  • Authentication data stored on your device: a login token and an onboarding flag are stored in your device's secure storage (expo-secure-store). This information remains on your device and is used to keep you signed in.

2.3 Information we do NOT collect

  • We do not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
  • We do not collect your device location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
  • We do not access private social media account data or your social login credentials.

03How we use your information

  • create and maintain your account and authenticate you;
  • display campaigns and let you submit content to them;
  • retrieve and display the public performance of your submitted content;
  • calculate and process campaign payouts to you;
  • provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • comply with legal obligations.

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the Services you sign up for, including processing payouts.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure the Services, prevent fraud, and improve the App, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent: where required; you may withdraw consent at any time.

05How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers: we use trusted third parties to host our infrastructure and databases and to operate the Services on our behalf. These providers process data only on our instructions.
  • Payment recipients/processors: to pay you, your chosen payout identifier (e.g. PayPal email, Whop username, or Solana address) is used to route payment through the corresponding payment service. Those services handle your information under their own privacy policies.
  • Social media platforms: we retrieve only publicly available metrics for the content links you submit. We do not send your personal account data to these platforms.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lumina Clippers, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

06Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it. See Section 9 for how to request deletion.

07Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of passwords (hashing), encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), and secure on-device storage of authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08Your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rhys@luminaclippers.com.

09Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by:

  • emailing rhys@luminaclippers.com from the email address associated with your account, or

Upon a verified request, we will delete your account and personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations. Publicly available social-post metrics that are not personal to you may be retained in aggregate form.

10Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

12Third-party links and services

The App may reference or link to third-party services (such as social media platforms and payment providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
